For prepaid cellular phones, the functionality is often limited so the phone and service you choose may not be able to do everything a similar cell phone can do when paid for monthly. Other schemes that include families for instance, have advantages for family and small business use.
The national cell phone plan usually attracts large businesses and organizations with offices and operatives nationwide. The other advantage to this plan is the lack of roaming charges which can mount up if you are someone who is a regular traveler, like myself.
However, should you choose a regional plan, national calls may be charged but possibly at a reduced rate - whilst prepaid cell phone plans are generally the best option for most people, this is not usually the case for people who travel a great deal as part of their business.
In conclusion, let me remind you that cell phones are great but that does not mean you have to be attached to them 24 hours a day, as I've made clear in previous blog posts.
